Lecture Wednesday- Michael Croft and Program Readings

This is a reminder of the INDA public lecture scheduled for Wednesday Jan 26 5-6pm: Michael Croft "Askance: A Painter Looks Sideways at His Creative Practice," Faculty of Architecture Room 329.  Attendance is mandatory.

A paired pinup is scheduled for next Wednesday, Feb 2nd and will include site analysis, case studies and program research.

Site Model

I have been receiving some questions regarding the extent of the site model.  See the attached file (A1 Scale 1:600 pdf) for reference only (the shophouses on the right side are not the Address condo) but at A1 size and scale 1:600 the context model should include the canal and airport link.  If you have been instructed to work in another format by your instructor, this information may not apply and verify with your instructor the details.

This semester, other scales might be needed based on individual concepts but we will be working on models at a Minimum of two scales.
Scale 1:600 to show massing in urban context (can be shared between groups)
Scale 1:200 Building model (individual)
